PROJECT DESIGN ENGINEER (M/W/D)

YOUR TASKS

• Supporting foreign locations in MD development (reviews/coaching)
• Development of
  -Complex design solutions for complete systems and devices
  -MD project design efforts planning and guidance of international teams based on PEP
  -Design drafts based on CAD work
  -Initiate suitable simulations and evaluate the results
  -Detail design of single components
  -Harness planning, selection of connectors and routing
• Project types to be developed:
  -Lighting projects (HL, RCL) for 12/24 Volt applications
• Conducting customer visits and lead conversations with suppliers

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering
• Several years of professional experience in
  -Automotive mechanical development of lighting products
  -Very good English skills and German skills
  -Profound experience in training colleagues in CATIA methodology and structures (e. g. KBE) as well as in deep operational CATIA functions
• Knowledge in the fields of
  -CAD, very good knowledge, ability of actively designing with CATIA
  -Parametrical design methodology
  -Lighting technology (HL, RCL)
  -Light optical systems, adjustment systems
  -Tolerancing and drafting
  -PLM work (BOM, ECM, DOC, MAT)
  -Evaluating simulation results
