ABOUT THE JOB

• Working with the Global Head of Leadership & Development, Learning Experiences Manager and Professional & Business Development Manager as well as subject matter experts from Markets, Airline, IT, Group Functions and Holiday Destinations, the jobholder is responsible for the creation of global learning frameworks and products for implementation at a global level or by local learning teams
• Working with the Global Head of Talent Management & Performance and HR Business Partners, understand the future leadership succession needs of TUI through analysis of talent data and insight, reacting to needs by creating learning solutions to strengthen our existing talent pool, as well as developing our potential leaders of the future
• Responsible for creating learning frameworks, programmes, policies and processes that are easy to follow, adhere to, access and versatile enough for global scale implementation or local adaptation to meet local needs. The role holder will provide the governance, guidance, coaching and support to local learning teams to ensure delivery of aligned leadership development experiences across the TUI Group
• Responsible for building a strong network with external learning and leadership organisations to remain up to date with latest leadership challenges, trends and technology and seek out opportunities to bring this knowledge back into TUI within budget and resource limitations
• Responsible for the evaluation, monitoring and tracking of leadership development activity across the TUI Group by creating two-way channels of communication with senior stakeholders and learning subject matter experts from all areas of the business. Responsible for ensuring all feedback is acknowledged, shared, successes are celebrated, needs are addressed, and reviews or improvements are made to global products, policies or processes.
• Global specialist for leading and managing all the processes, policies, relationships and stakeholders related to Leadership Development at all levels. This includes budget management (including TBS cost centre) and tracking in accordance with all internal and external guidelines as well as robust project management, train the trainer and implementation plans
• Responsible for the internal annual nomination process for all global Leadership Development Programmes and the external recruitment process of the International Graduate Programme.
• Working in partnership with the Works Council and other members of the Global Talent, People and Culture CoE to improve the overall learning experience at TUI
• Team leadership of two employees and International Graduate Trainees
• Support of further global projects in the field as required (collaboration/sub project management)

ABOUT YOU

• Completed studies (Diploma/Master or Bachelor) in the field of tourism, business, or HR
• Professional experience (3-5 years), ideally in an international environment
• HR background (especially personnel development)
• Tourist knowledge
• Strong communication skills in an international environment across all hierarchical levels in English and preferably German also
• Conceptual and analytical skills
• Structured, organized and independent way of working
• Mediation and assertiveness in an intercultural environment
• Hands-on mentality
• High level of commitment and forward-looking action
