We are currently looking for a Certified German Tutor to supervise German translation interns participating long distance from their home country.

At New York Habitat you will:

Act as a long-distance supervisor for translation interns working from their home country.

Proofread translations by the interns and help them with their translation challenges.

Contribute to the progress of the intern through weekly evaluations.

Your qualifications:

Native German speaker

You are an experienced German tutor (a degree in German translation is a huge plus)

You have a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching / translating German

You own your company in your own country OR you are documented in the US

You are able to work flexible hours

The position will pay $30 per hour.
