The Client:

JBAndrews is working with a global Contract Logistics company operating globally across industries, with a focus on Automotive, Industrial, & eCommerce customers in the main.
They are looking to further the growth of in their Automotive division specifically.

The Role:

The business requires an experienced Site Manager/Warehouse Manager/Plant Manager to help drive customer excellence and growth in this multi-customer Automotive focused facility (300+ people), in order to maximise efficiency, and minimise costs to the network.
This position will involve fostering new relationships, taking final decisions on which to keep and which to cut, and helping to generate new business to be fostered for the long-term.

The role will come with responsibility for the Budget, Health & Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, KPI Management, and Invoicing Management too.

The main functions of the role will be the Site Management, Warehouse Design, Cost Calculations, Budgeting, and assisting with Tender processes, while building and upgrading the current teams in place too.

The Requirements:

The business is seeking someone with a background in Logistics at a senior level within the Warehousing & Distribution sector specifically from an Automotive customer perspective.

Experience in Warehousing is essential, ideally with a consultative style approach leading all disciplines from HR, to Finance to Health & Safety and Quality.
You should possess at least 8 years’ experience in Warehousing site/facility leadership consistently performing to ensure targets are hit and the logistical aspects are satisfied on a day-to-day, and strategic, level, with blue chip organisations.

Ideally the candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills through prior experience on a local level.

Grassroots experience in a logistics environment in a number of different disciplines and locations would be highly beneficial.

The ideal candidate will be based in the Sachsen area, speaking fluent German & English & eligible to work in Germany.
