JOB OPENING - Title: Operations Manager for Military Community Services (OM-MCS)
- Location: 2 Days/week required to work out of HQ in Sinsheim. Remote work is authorized for the remaining days. Frequent site visits required within Europe (primarily Germany)
- Start Date: position open until filled
- Job-Type: Initially 20 hrs/week. Potential to increase hours based on performance, workload, and new awards.
JOB OVERVIEW: This position will lead the company’s Military Community Services-related Line of Business (LOB) and other projects as directed. The successful candidate will monitor and supervise all MCS contracts, ensuring all deliverables and contractual objectives are met. This includes, but is not limited to: quality control, recruiting, hiring, relocation assistance, on- and off-boarding, and management of MCS LOB contract personnel. The OM-MCS will ensure employees adhere to and comply with contractual regulations and procedures. They will also serve as the company’s primary contact to interact with the MCS LOB Contracting Officers (KO), Contracting Officer Representatives (COR), and/or other customer representatives. The OM-MCS is expected to develop and provide reports to senior leadership on contract performance. They will also assist the company’s Business Development team in shaping future contract opportunities, identifying and pursuing networking leads, and strengthening the company’s brand.
QUALIFICATIONS - Operations/Project Management experience in business and management settings. Must have excellent demonstrable experience in utilizing principles of resource allocation, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
- Solid level knowledge and use of Microsoft Office suite of database programs to include (but not limited to): Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Fluent in the English Language to include a high level of oral and written communication skills. The ability to understand and speak German is desired but not required.
- Experience with OCONUS U.S. military organizations and installations is desired but not required.
- Must be extremely organized and capable of completing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of U.S. government Contracting is desired but not required.
- U.S. military experience (eg military retiree living in Germany with EU-wide U.S. installation access) is desired but not required.

- Supervise Project Officers, Team, and/or Site Leads
- Interface with CORs and Contracting Officers
- Handle Safety Aspects
- Care and Recognition of Employees
- An integral part of the Leadership Team
