Our team at Solvay is shaping the future of our 9 sites producing Soda ash, sodium bicarbonate & derivatives by managing, developing and transforming more than 60 co-products and by-products representing millions of tons of potential raw materials globally. You will bring:

Background: Chemical engineer or business. Level of the responsibilities will depend on the experience of the candidate.
Leadership, Impact on local and global organization with ability to summarize complex projects
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong internal and external negotiation skills
Innovation skills: Open innovation, Smart Risks, mindset 80/20
Collaboration, working cross organization
German & French: fluent, negotiation with customers level. English: very good. Other languages are a plus.
Should be based at Rheinberg (Dusseldorf area, DE), Bernburg (Leipzig area, DE) or Dombasle (Nancy area, FR)
Knowledge in cement, construction materials, gypsum or agriculture segment is a strong plus
