The Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the University Medical Center Göttingen is seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Assistant (TA/TLA) to join the research group of Prof. Hendrik Rosewich.
As a Technical Assistant, you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Perform cell culture techniques including maintenance, expansion, and manipulation of cell lines.
- Conduct molecular cloning experiments such as DNA extraction, PCR, plasmid purification, and vector design.
- Execute basic biochemical assays including protein expression and purification, as well as Western blotting.
- Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, data, and observations.
- Collaborate with the research team to plan and execute experiments.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:
- Experience in cell culture techniques including aseptic handling, media preparation, and cryopreservation.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to present experimental results clearly.
- Demonstrated commitment to laboratory safety and adherence to protocols and guidelines.
