For our Sustainability Team at ProCredit Holding in Frankfurt am Main, we are seeking a motivated
Sustainability specialist for impact (m/f/d)
What we offer:
As a Sustainability Specialist (m/f/d) you will play a crucial role in helping our organization achieve its sustainability goals and make
a positive impact on the environment and society. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sustainability
initiatives and programs tailored to the European market.
Your role in our team: • Contribute/support constant development and improvement of ProCredit sustainability strategy.
- Constant research of regulatory compliance requirements that impact company operations, considering different markets as well as
of best sustainability practices and industry benchmarks and identification of synergies with ProCredit sustainability approach.
- Quantification of impacts: Monitor and advance on relevant actions to ensure alignment with our strategy, commitments, European
and international environmental regulations, standards and reporting requirements such as CSRD, ESRD, GRI, EU Taxonomy,
PCAF, TCFD, TNFD.
- Impact reporting and ratings: Participate in preparation of group sustainability reports, as well on ESG ratings from well-known rating
agencies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and industry
partners, to build collaborative relationship and dive sustainability initiatives.
- Materiality assessment for the most relevant sustainability aspects on the group level.
- Monitor sustainable finance: Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of sustainability programs, and when needed, recommending
changes to close strategic gaps.
- Developing communication materials for stakeholders regarding a company’s sustainability goals.
What we expect: • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in sustainability, climate change or impact reporting preferably in European context. Minimum 3 year of experience
- Strong understanding of European environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Sustainability certifications are a plus.
- Identify with the goals and values of the ProCredit group and can represent them.
- Are flexible and open to discussion.
- Enjoy working in a team and communicate clearly and openly.
- Work independently, goal-oriented and act confidently
