The European University for Well-Being (EUniWell; www.
euniwell.eu) is a European University Alliance coordinated by
the University of Cologne and funded by the EU under ERAS-
MUS+ since 2020. EUniWell includes the member universities
of Cologne, Birmingham, Florence, Inalco, Konstanz, Linnaeus,
Murcia, Nantes, Santiago de Compostela, Semmelweis, and
Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Our goal is to
enhance the well-being of individuals, society and the envi-
ronment through research expertise, excellence in teaching
and learning, and social engagement.
The position of Executive Officer (f/m/x) is part of the EUniWell
Head Office, which is located at the University of Cologne.
YOUR TASKS
» Support the EUniWell Head Office in project and process
management across the activities of the EUniWell Alliance
» Contribute to alliance-wide coordination and communi-
cation
of the EUniWell Head Office with a diverse range
of stakeholders inside and outside of academia
» Support EUniWell leadership in preparing EUniWell
activities and in the elaboration and planning
of strategies and practices for the alliance
» Contribute to research- and scientifically-based content
creation on European and international cooperation
in research and education, on the European higher
education landscape and higher education policy
» Liaise regularly with the EUniWell member institutions
» Monitor and identify additional funding oppor-
tunities (e.g., national and international funding
agencies, university-industry collaborations, etc.)
» Contribute to proposal writing across EUniWell
YOUR PROFILE
» University MA degree (A PhD/
doctorate will be a strong asset)
» Highly developed knowledge of different
types of research methodology
» A track record of achieving goals and completing
projects within timeframe and budget
» Experience in concept development and proposal writing
» Extensive experience working in an academic environment
» Experience in European or international as well
as interdisciplinary projects is an asset
» Understanding of the European
higher education landscape
» Demonstrable experience working in a
digital, distributed work environment
» Strong communications skills, including the ability to
build and sustain relationships with various stakeholders
(including students, academic and professional staff,
university leadership and external stakeholders)
» Ability to coordinate and participate effectively in teams
» Strong intercultural skills
» Excellent written and spoken English and German skills
» Ability to travel
» Identification with the vision and mission of EUniWell

The position is available immediately on a full-time basis
