- Overcoming challenges: They proactively identify potential issues considering store planning and surveys, stock availability and fulfilment, installations and remedial work, networking and client partners, InfoSec, ongoing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line Support, and they take or direct action(s) to prevent anything from hindering progress.

Key Accountabilities
The PDM will plan and execute projects in accordance with the Client's specifications, contract terms, schedules, management methodology and quality procedures
Manage controllable costs and cash flow, and cost to completion forecasts to maximise profitability
Provide accurate resource forecasts and early visibility of potential risks and delays to the programme by third parties, suppliers and subcontractors.
Support the PMO (internal or external) in achieving compliance with the Client requirements and meeting the operational and business objectives of the project.
Produce plans and deliverable schedules to manage multiple concurrent projects
Maintain project risk registers and recommend/implement mitigating actions.
Maintain a schedule to monitor progress and change based on key dates and KPI's.
Carry out regular financial reviews and update the relevant systems to reflect project health.
Ensure billing and on-time payment of invoices and enhanced cash flow.
Carry out review meetings with stakeholders and task owners to track outputs and actions utilising the project action register documents.
Experience/education level/area of study:
- Extensive delivery management experience: A deep understanding of delivery management gained from years of experience, preferably in the Retail field.
- Experience of managing multiple concurrent product & service delivery projects, preferably within Retail.
- Advanced certifications such as PRINCE2 Practitioner or a Professional Scrum Master to add depth to their Agile expertise.
- Proven ability to control projects as a P&L, control project costs, manage change, identify and mitigate risk.
- Proven ability to interpret specifications and contract requirements and deliver fully compliant solutions and execution plans.
- Experience in the leadership and implementation of HS&E requirements to company policy and current legislation.
- Adept at effectively communicating and negotiating with senior-level management.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups.
Main internal relations:
This role requires the PDM to be able to build and hold strong working relationships with many key internal stakeholders within VoCoVo. Working closely with PM Team colleagues, Business Development Managers, Account Managers, Operational (Warehouse & Fulfilment) and Support (Customer Service) staff.
Main external relations:
This role requires the PDM to be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with project managers, operational, managerial and executive decision-makers for the customer, and their 3rd party partnerships (e.g. installation & telco network teams.
