Engineer cooperative controls / swarm simulation in Essen bei RHEINMETALL AG

• Development and extension of simulation environments for robot systems
• Development work in the area of Model-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop
• Conception, creation and extension of simulations for robot systems acting in swarms
• Execution of integration work as well as planning, support and execution of flight tests
• Development of signal processing (Strapdown-Inertial Navigation Systems) and of network-based controller methods
• Planning and implementation of project-related activities

• Successfully completed studies in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, aeronautical or aerospace engineering
• Several years of experience in setting up simulations with real-time capable, dynamic systems
• Knowledge in the area of network controls and optimal filtering desirable
• High programming experience in Matlab, OpenGL and C/C++
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
• High level of commitment, flexibility and willingness to travel
