ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty
satisfactorily:
1. Analyzes Project financial reports and raw information from local sources,
Cost Point, and other databases to identify anomalies, produce spending
trends, reports, charts, and graphs for Program Senior Management, Finance
and Accounting Manager, Financial Supervisors and the U.S. Government as
directed.
2. Assembles spreadsheets and converts them to graphic format to illustrate the
financial data. Designs and maintains local reports to accurately display
project spending. Reviews and analyzes the Project Status Report and other
outputs from the databases to ensure accuracy and completeness of
spending data.
3. Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in
accordance with generally accepted accounting practices and
Amentum/Global Management policies and procedures.
4. Reviews billing and invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.
5. Prepares monthly reports and makes wire transfer and journal funding
transfers.
6. Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events.
7. Analyzes and reconciles expenditures with invoices.
8. Designs and uses templates, collects and compiles budget data to complete
work papers and status reports.
9. Assists in the development and maintenance of budget monitoring systems.
10. As directed, either as the primary or alternate, provides cash management
services for the established Impress Fund, to include check cashing, cash
accountability, reconciliation, and reports.
11. Audits financial records for accuracy.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
13. Maintain a daily timesheet and daily manning report and ensuring times are
accurate.
