WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT The internship will run for 3 months, with the successful candidate placed in a role within our integrated team. As an intern you will experience first-hand the different disciplines within Private Banking while working autonomously on a variety of interesting projects and tasks.
Integrated team interns work with our bankers, global investment specialists, capital advisors and trust and estate experts, to bring in new clients and to serve existing clients by devising customised financial strategies.
Responsibilities Include:
Preparing presentations for client meetings and prospects
- Analysis of portfolios and client reporting
- Research on stocks, funds and investment vehicles
- Ability to make trading recommendations to senior team members based upon research
- Asset allocation analysis and wealth projections
Key skills and eligibility criteria include: - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organised and good time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Flexibility to work as part of a team and as an individual contributor
- Motivated and proactive mind-set
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- You must be eligible to start full-time work in 2022, graduating before the end of 2022. If you plan to pursue further education beyond your undergraduate studies, please ensure this is accurately reflected in the graduation date entered on your application
ABOUT YOU Because the roles are about both analysing complex financial situations and personally presenting solutions, you will need a unique blend of interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. You should be comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative analysis, handle pressure and enjoy a collaborative environment. A well-rounded academic background is important - a United Kingdom 2:1 Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in your undergraduate studies is preferred. You certainly don't need a degree in Economics or Finance, but a good level of numeracy is required.
Additional requirements include:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence and initiative to take on responsibility and manage your own projects.
But beyond that, what we're most interested in are the things that make you, you: the personal qualities, outside interests and achievements beyond academia that demonstrate the kind of person you are and the difference you could bring to the team.
Candidates willing to take an off-cycle internship (final year students from Business/Engineering Schools, Master 1 or Master 2 students) as well as recent graduates should apply.
Language Requirements:
Fluency in German is mandatory; a second EU language is preferable but not essential.
