Analytical chemist in Lutherstadt Wittenberg bei Omnisal GmbH

We are part of FB HOLDING – the largest processor of yellow phosphorus in Europe. At the Wittenberg-Piesteritz location, we produce phosphor salts in a wide variety of compositions and uses in all areas of industry, especially in the food industry.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a:

Analytical chemist (m/f/d) – full-time (40h)

Your tasks

• Development of new analytical methods and optimization of existing methods, incl. validation and verification of an method according to the harmonized standards
• Transfer of analytical methods in order to unify methods between laboratories
• Providing guidance and training for laboratory technicians in analytical methods and instruments
• Active involvement in improving processes in the laboratories
• Communication and cooperation with internal customers (e.g. production, R&D, sales, purchasing) in fulfilling their requirements
• Close cooperation with the QC team in the Czech Republic

Your profile

• College/university education (analytical/inorganic chemistry or related)
• Experience working in an analytical laboratory with various laboratory instruments (e.g. an IC, AAS)
• Knowledge of statistical methods
• Experience with laboratory software such as LIMS is an advantage
• Good knowledge of English (B2) and confident use of PC and Office applications
• Open and communicative, work in a structured and proactive manner
• Flexibility, morality and discipline with willingness to learn
