In the Delivery Unit our vision is to ensure delivery in time, budget, scope and quality for the E3 1.2 by providing the E2E responsibility across all systems. Your team is responsible for the technical steering of all development activities of the upcoming E³ 1.2 releases for the premium platform-based cars of Audi, Porsche and Bentley.
- Leading project manager for one of our upcoming cluster releases.
- Work closely with the leads of our E³ 1.2 systems like drivetrain, energy, infotainment, connect, body electronics and driver assistance and coordinate the development of all hardware and software parts of the E³ 1.2
- Create and coordinate the milestone planning with our systems, brands and integration partners
- Manage risks and dependencies, escalate and track impediments
- Responsible for all aspects of the solution: plan, detail, track, and manage engineering activities for deliveries in time and quality
- Coordinate cross domain team to ensure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
- Status reporting in group management boards
- Successfully completed university studies in the field of computer engineering, computer sciences, electrical engineering, information technology or comparable disciplines
- At least 8 years of professional experience in the automotive industry with a strong background in software development, its verification or automotive electronics
- A strong coordinator, able to work within a matrix organization and be capable to communicate / cooperate with different decision makers
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to compromise as well as extended moderations skills
- Ideally strong collaboration skills with the ability to build productive relationships and work well with people at all levels of VW Group
- A proactive problem-solving approach with a demonstrated ability to maintain focus, prioritize workloads, and deliver quality
- Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives through experience
- Professional experiences in development and approval processes within the automotive industry
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken German and English
