ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
NP Digital is seeking an energetic, data-driven, and innovative Paid Search Manager capable of managing paid search advertising. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience managing paid search budgets anywhere from €10k-€100k per month and understands what it takes to drive award-winning performance for our clients across multiple industries.
The Paid Search Manager will be responsible for leading small and large sized clients paid search strategies and campaigns, monitoring performance, and reporting to clients. This person will also be expected to directly manage high-value client initiatives and provide strategic guidance for a team of Paid Media professionals.
This role will build out our paid search offering within the GSA markets and develop standard processes and procedures as we grow. This is a roll- up-your-sleeves kind-of position that has serious scope to grow as our business expands.
Candidates must be eligible to work and reside in Germany and be fully bilingual in German and English.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Head of Search, the Paid Search Manager will be responsible for driving client success within their own book of business and for helping to train and mentor our junior team members across best practices for Search and Social Paid Media.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and support paid search strategy to align with brand and original content goals and initiatives (Lead-Gen & Ecommerce)
- Own channel measurement; tracking, monitoring and optimizing performance against critical metrics
- Coordinate with Creative, PPC, analytics, SEO, social and web development teams
- Develop creative testing roadmap and participate in creative briefing and performance readouts
- Clearly communicate campaign changes and performance to the Account Management team and other strategic partners
- Set up, optimise and execute paid search campaigns Google Ads
- Write and review copy for paid search campaigns informed by SEO/SEM best practices
- Monitor daily advertising spend to align with client’s monthly budgets
- Report on campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations
- Build projections and forecasting calculations as it pertains to incremental client growth
- Interface with C-level client contacts on a regular basis independently
- Manage the day-to-day team activities; project management and task prioritisation, and campaign best practices and tools
- Manage a team of junior specialists or contractors and effectively coach and mentor team members to improve overall team performance
ABOUT YOU
- 3-5 Years of hands-on experience setting up, optimising and reporting on paid search campaigns
- Extensive experience with Google Ads
- Experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Strong knowledge of eComm/Retail/Shopping marketing tactics
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong presentation skills, creative, customer focused & action-oriented
- Experience with other types of paid media campaigns (social media, programmatic) will be a bonus
