Functional area: Corporate Development / Strategy

As Working Student (d/f/m) Special Projects & Events you will be part of the team “Strategy, Sustainability, Business Development & Transformation” within RWE Renewables Europe & Australia. As a fully integrated team member you will play an important role by supporting our team with the preparation of management events and supporting on overarching projects with special importance for our business. This will give you valuable insights into a major global project organization and sharpen your project management skills.

Your tasks

• Support planning and execution of offsite events for senior executives including drafting an agenda and slide decks and monitoring the project schedule
• Support the administrative preparation of workshops & events (e.g., calendar invites, alignment of participants, hotel scouting & reservation) – You will ensure a smooth experience for participants
• Support managing all stakeholder groups from attendants, presenters and other teams delivering into workshops & events (e.g., technical team, caterer, guest speaker)
• In addition, you will assist creating analysis and internal communications documents for the Renewables board and senior executives that deliver clear, concise, and insightful guidance on overarching questions
• In that context you will also be helping the team on ad-hoc requests with special importance for our renewables business (i.e. related to organizational alignments and process optimization in a quickly growing business unit)

Your powerful skills

• Currently enrolled student (d/f/m) in Bachelor’s/Master's programs in business administration, engineering, social science or any other relevant field
• Ability to synthesize, being creative and present complex topics in written and verbal form
• Personal drive and enthusiasm to learn more about renewable energy, being able to work independently and to stay on top of things
• Good analytical skills and strategic thinking, ability to structure and draw conclusions from diverse sources of information
• True team player who is willing to join a dynamic and highly motivated group of colleagues
• Basic knowledge about energy markets and renewables is welcome, but not mandatory
• Good MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel)
• Business fluent in English
• Capacity for 20 hours a week
