What do we do?
Systemiq orchestrates system change in clean energy, circular material solutions and sustainable land use. This means re-imagining our industries, re-configuring the world of energy, and regenerating the ecosystems around us. By addressing systemic failures in these areas, Systemiq aims to unlock economic opportunities that benefit business, society, and the environment.
As a Project Manager working within the Materials and Circular Economy team, you will be instrumental in driving some of our key projects in the Sustainable Fashion space. You will work in a multi-stakeholder environment, engaging global brands and policy-makers as we strive for industry transformation.
Eg to;
- Co-create approaches with our partners/clients to overcome the perceived trade-offs between economic viability, ecosystem regeneration, and social inclusion and wellbeing,
- Bring data together in a consistent way and perform analyses based on agreed questions for insights,
- Develop long-lasting and collaborative relationships with project partners and stakeholders,
- Provide strategic insights and develop practical solutions for successful transformations
- Support these partners in monitoring, evaluating and communicating their business model, vision and impact.
- Genuine excitement & motivation to improve the circular economy and sustainability of the Fashion industry.
- [Strongly preferred] Expeirence and demonstrable knowledge in the fields of Sustainable Fashion - policy experience relating to this topic would be enormously helpful
- Business international level of English – both written and oral
- 5-7 years professional experience in relevant fields: (advisory/consulting, strategy, thought leadership/research, project management, investment,)
- 2+ years operating in a strategic advisory role
- Experience formally managing teams
- Exceptional problem solving, analytical and structuring skills with high level of comfort & enthusiasm for delivering intuitive presentations of complex data
- Understanding of key concepts and contexts within the topic area of sustainable finance, urban environment, industry, energy, or agriculture/land use also helps!
- Intellectual and commercial curiosity with an interest to quickly dive into new topics,
- Collaborative team player and can-do attitude
- Evidenced passion for SYSTEMIQ's mission and the sustainability / environment / social enterprise space,
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to identify opportunities and new initiatives and to turn them into reality.
- Resilience under stress and resourcefulness to deliver
