We are looking for a Regional Markets Director, Europe (all genders) to join on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. Delivery Hero Europe consists of 9 different country organizations and is led by a regional leadership team out of Berlin. Delivery Hero’s businesses in Europe are growing rapidly and occupy leading positions.

Responsibilities:

• The Regional Markets Director, Europe works with all Foodora entities in the EU region (Turkey excluded) to achieve our key objectives, with a strong focus on growth & P&L metrics

• You will advise regional/local executive teams across multiple countries providing support in business analysis and operational execution

• Understand countries’ key challenges in-depth and how to best support them. You are a key driver and stakeholder in the countries strategy and P&L management, supporting strategy setting and ensuring P&L alignment to strategy

• You will support global cross-(functional) initiatives to strengthen our customer experience, restaurant relationships or internal processes, such as customer NPS improvement, basket size increase, logisticsmarketingpricing coordination, etc.

• You will work closely with local business management to consolidate and distribute best practices from different countries

• You set OKR achievement with the leadership teams in the HQ and regionally

• Drive or actively participate in key regular touchpoints: performance updates, financial reviews, budgeting & strategy, etc.

• Drive projects to improve customer, rider and vendor performance and experience

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience at the company decision-making level, including P/L accountability

• Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/technology environments

• We're looking for people bringing a rare combination of strategic thinking and implementation drive

• A mix of consulting experience (or comparable) and a track record of outstanding achievements in business, with international exposure, would be ideal

• Great interpersonal relationships, as this high exposure role involves close cooperation with countries and working cross-functionally within the region and globally

• This is a new team, so a willingness, and more so a desire to build from scratch is needed

• While this a general management role, an expertise on a particular aspect of our business (notably marketing, operations, commercial, and/or finance) is a strong plus

• Strong analytical skills, again combined with a bias for action

• Comfortable in reading & interpreting financial documents, especially country P&Ls and investment proposals, and deriving actions from them

• Clear, crisp, and actionable communication

• Team player. We build teams around the strong belief that excellence comes from both great output and a great attitude
