Your responsibilities
- Support the regional Hydrogen Business Development teams in the delivery of hydrogen projects from initiation phase to Final Investment Decision, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, budgetary constraints, and timelines
- Prepare and coordinate relevant strategic and financial decision processes
- Channel and steer the renewable power supply for individual hydrogen projects
- Analyse power supply requirements for each H2 project and support the discussion with Power Portfolio to derive the supply concept for the individual projects
- Optimize business cases by running sensitivities with the project economic model (DCF model) regarding full load hours, power price, others
- Facilitate regular meetings or virtual discussions between the RES PPA team, Origination and Hydrogen Team to establish communication and collaboration
- Monitor progress and address any challenges or discrepancies in the development of the power supply concept and pricing
- Represent the company as a subject matter expert in hydrogen püroject optimisation, participating in industry conferences, seminars, and networking events
- Deliver input to Uniper Communication and Regulation based on latest H2 regulatory changes, derive impact assessments of (draft) regulatory changes on Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) and propose a hydrogen portfolio action plan
Your profile
- Passion for the Energy Transition as well as energy, flexibility, and self-starter mentality
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of commercial power optimisation and structuring
- Demonstrable relevant professional experience in the development and management of complex, interdisciplinary, large-scale asset projects in the energy industry or comparable (functional) management responsibility
- Technical or commercial expertise in an adjacent subject area, e.g. gas supply, methanol, gas infrastructure, power sourcing, plant construction, major asset investment projects, etc.
- Analytic person who understands economic behaviour, energy policy and market regulation
- Entrepreneurial way of thinking as well as working with a high level of quality awareness, even under high pressure
- Excellent interpersonal & stakeholder management skills
- Personality: high level of integrity; open to new ideas; keeping calm in all situations; always solution-oriented; always a team player
- Fluent in English language, German or Swedish is an advantage
