Duties

The Family Member Employment (FME) Coordinator manages and coordinates the duties and responsibilities for all aspects of the Family Member Employment Program for Consulate Frankfurt. Incumbent performs a full range of human resource responsibilities in areas of staffing, recruitment, employee benefits, compensation, performance evaluations, security clearance tracking, and employee relations. The Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of Family Member Employment including Family Member Appointments (FMA), Expanded Professional Associates Program (EPAP), Foreign Service Family Reserve Corps Program (FSFRC), Personal Services Agreements (PSA), When Actually Employed (WAE), and temporary positions.

Support to Consulate Dusseldorf in regards to all EFM position questions and concerns. Coordinator reports directly to the Deputy Human Resources Officer (D/HRO).

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE:

At least four (4) years work experience in human resources, personnel, operations, administration, management, office management, program management or international relations, including at least six months of U.S. Government experience in any of the related fields, is required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

Must have knowledge of general office operations and procedural requirements pertaining to functions performed in an administrative office.

Education Requirements:

Completion of secondary school and two years of college in general course work is required.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Fluent English (speaking/reading/writing) is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must be highly computer literate and knowledgeable in the Microsoft Office applications suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must have good presentation skills and understand social media platforms.
Must be highly organized and able to prioritize with minimum or no direct supervision.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills, judgement, tact, and ability to maintain personal and professional confidence.
Ability to meet exacting deadlines in a high-pressured environment is required.

This may be tested.
