Specialist responsible for QA/QC

Location: Ratingen, Germany (Headquarters)

Your Tasks

Performing management tasks
Personnel planning of project and site assignments QA/QC & Expediting both national and international
Checking the customer contract for quality-relevant deviations from the offer
Coordination of project-related QA support during project audits and production monitoring at suppliers and on site
Technical support of the purchasing department during contract award negotiations
Ensuring quality requirements through close supplier/customer contact and obtaining the necessary information
Carrying out quality audits at suppliers
Preparation and maintenance of the supplier evaluation in cooperation with the project management and the purchasing department
Processing customer complaints and damage claims
Evaluating project-specific deviation reports with the project management and monitoring their elimination
Creating and updating standard documents and procedures
Checking customer enquiries for feasibility of quality-related issues such as applicable standards and norms, quality assurance requirements, welding and testing technology, painting, etc.

Your Profile

Graduate engineer and welding engineer
Additional training in relevant ZFP procedures desirable
Additional training as a Frosio coating inspector desirable
At least 10 years of professional experience in the field of quality assurance in plant construction
Knowledge of the necessary manufacturing
Knowledge of the regulations commonly used in plant construction (ISO 9000; PED 14/68/EC; EN 12952; EN 13480; EN 1090, EN 13445; EN 5817, ISO 15614 etc.)
MS Office applications
First experience in managing employees
AutoCAD
Confident manner in dealing with customers, suppliers, authorities etc.
Assertiveness, ability to work in a team & ability to delegate and motivate others
Diligence, time management, problem solving ability & implementation orientation
Business fluent in German and English
Willing to travel globally
