Working Model: Remote (within Germany)
This position is now open to Austria & The Netherlands. Travel to Hamburg Office and regular travel throughout Germany will be required.
Main Responsibilities:
To expand sales to new as well as existing clients & help us to achieve and exceed our annual quotas for sum.cumo Sapiens Insurance and the Digital product offering in the region, with a primary focus on Germany.
You will help us to build the opportunity pipeline and manage opportunity plans to win.
Our offering is a comprehensive One-Stop-Shop solution for all lines of business for private, commercial and industrial requirements.
Our sum.cumo Sapiens insurance platform "SCIP" delivers the highest degree of automation and - based on its API-first approach and modern tech stack - can be easily integrated into legacy system landscapes
It is a unique e-commerce platform solving the needs of today's customers and agents for digital insurance products and services
Especially for the motor segment, the module SCIP Car provides an extremely successful, highly automated software, which is ready to be scaled further in the DACH-market
Responsible for the definition, development and execution of sales strategy, as well as the full sales cycle, from initiation to closure including, but not limited to:
Accurately assess and qualify opportunities to ensure sales effort and resource are expended effectively;
Undertake and be accountable for all necessary lead generation activities to drive penetration of target organizations and generate new logo acquisition;
Draw on resources from business development, marketing and partners as needed to achieve this goal;
Develop compelling business cases to justify investment in Sapiens solutions;
Engage and work confidently with Senior Business management and C-level executives, to progress sales opportunities.
Produce regional monthly forecasts and hereby enable sales management to consolidate accurate projections.
Qualifications
10+ years’ complex software sales experience within the Insurance industry.
A passion for penetrating new markets, detecting and leveraging new opportunities, managing sales cycles from initiation up to closure.
A proven track record of high-value deals ($5m+) end-to-end management is a must.
A solid business understanding of Short-Term (P&C) and/or L&P, including the technology and platforms available.
A consultative sales approach.
The ability to influence and to build trusted relationships at clients all the way up to C-level executives.
The ability to lead a team for large deal pursuits
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
Excellent German and English are must-haves; additional languages would be an advantage.
