We are looking for a Team Leader, Manager Support (all genders) to join the People & Culture team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.
As a Team Lead, Manager Support you will be leading a team of 3 Specialists, Manager Support and will be responsible for providing a best in class experience to our people managers by being the first point of contact to advise on policies, employee life cycle related processes and thereby,enabling those managers to effectively manage and lead their teams. Your expertise and guidance will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment and driving organizational success.

Your mission:
- You and your team will provide support to people managers on various HR and people management issues, e.g. with respect to HR policies and related processes (e.g. performance & conflict management, talent development, employee engagement) , Workday (HRIS) system usability and (German) labor law compliance advisory , e.g. grievances, incl. Whistleblower cases and policy breaches) or management of the employee exit interview process
- You will coach and guide your team members during the Talent Management and Pay Review processes to enable our People Managers to develop leadership skills, foster team growth and enhance their ability to manage people effectively, e.g. by providing assistance in addressing performance concerns incl. related investigations and supporting managers in succession planning
- You will work closely with the People Partner leads to understand more about the vertical priorities and work with your team members to deliver relevant business outcomes.
- You will partner closely with COEs (e.g. Talent & Culture, People Systems) in order to establish and/or improve operational processes in order to improve the experience for managers
- You and your team support with leading and/or participating in new projects for managers to scale our Manager Support function (including compliance and self-service initiatives)
- You maintain compliance with (German) employment law and regulations and recommend best practices
Your heroic skills:
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the People Partner/People Operations space, as well as at least 2 years of experience leading high-performing and diverse teams
- Relevant experience working in HR shared services model or a similar setup
- You are problem solver and have good attention to detail
- You are adept to conflict resolution and providing constructive feedback while bringing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- You are a people collaborator and connecter and are great in managing senior stakeholders
- You excel in the ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- You have a profound knowledge of German Labour Law and are aware of the latest and upcoming changes
- You have good German and excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- You bring strong knowledge and experience with Workday or Jira as a plus
