Responsibilities:
Ensure monitoring, suggest, centralize and support operational excellence initiatives to continuously improve the overall efficiency and economic performance of the site (OEE)
Facilitate the use of methodological tools for process excellence (Six Sigma, SMED, VSM, 5S, Kaizen, Trouble Shooting (IDEAL) etc.) – train and coach the employees
Maintain and monitor standardized application tools over time
Oversee and support the Cost Improvement Project (CIP) drivers together with the Plant Controller and the Plant Director
Define and implement best internal practices of project management: charter/record launch, planning, decision matrix, feedback etc.
Pilot and provide support to industrial investment projects ensuring implementation of methods to design Six Sigma for competitiveness, ergonomics, EHS, etc.
Plan and implement Waste Walks
Qualifications/ Experience:
University education as Industrial Engineer or Natural Sciences
Minimum of 5-8 years equivalent role in Lean Management (automotive, food, cosmetic, or typical industry)
Six Sigma experience required (Green Belt, Black Belt) as well as good project management skills
Certification in usage of information systems (e.g. ERP, Minitab)
Ability and willingness to change direction and focus in order to meet shifting organizational and business demands
Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills in the deployment of lean tools
Transitional management to unite around the Lean tools
Positive, pragmatic and dynamic mindset
Fluency in English
