With headquarters in Los Angeles and offices in Berlin, London, and Barcelona, Savage X Fenty is currently looking for an EU Merchandise Planner for a full-time, unlimited position based in our Berlin office.
How Do You Fit In?
As the EU Merchandise Planner, you will be responsible for OTB planning and analysis, inventory management and performance reporting. In addition, the EU Merchandise Planner will help drive the team’s success by providing insight and analysis into detailed planning KPIs. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and work well in a team environment. This role is critical to the growth of Savage X Fenty and will play an intricate role in the Merchandising and Planning department, as well as working closely with the Product, Finance, Site Merchandising, and Marketing teams.
This position will report to the Senior Director Merchandising & Planning – Europe.
Responsibilities:

Develop seasonal merchandise plans in collaboration with the buying team to achieve financial targets, sales goals, and inventory turnover objectives.

Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring appropriate stock levels to meet demand, while minimizing excess inventory and markdowns.

Conduct regular sales and inventory analysis to identify opportunities and risks and make recommendations for action to drive sales and profitability.

Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute promotional strategies, markdown plans, and inventory management initiatives.

Own all performance reporting e.g. Monday reporting, month-end reporting, quarterly hindsight, line cards.

Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and consumer demand to forecast future sales and determine appropriate future targets.

Assist in managing and training the Buying and Planning Coordinator.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on merchandise plans, financial targets, and business objectives.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional team members, including teams based in Los Angeles and other international offices
Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, finance, math or related field.

Previous experience in merchandise planning, retail buying, or inventory management, preferably in the fashion industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandise planning software/systems.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in data analysis and decision-making.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

Knowledge of retail math concepts and understanding of financial metrics such as sales, margin, and inventory turnover.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
