Acquisitions Editor Germanistische Linguistik (m/w/d)

Wir suchen ein engagiertes Team-Mitglied im Bereich Modern Languages, das professionell und tatkräftig die Pflege der bestehenden Netzwerke und die Akquise neuer Publikationsprojekte zum weiteren Ausbau unseres deutschsprachigen und internationalen Portfolios in der Germanistischen Linguistik übernimmt. Die Stelle ist unbefristet in Vollzeit am Standort Berlin zu besetzen.

Your Tasks

Eigenverantwortliche inhaltliche Betreuung des Portfolios in seiner ganzen Breite in enger Abstimmung mit der Programmleitung
Akquise, Entwicklung und Umsetzung marktfähiger Produktideen (u.a. digitale Produkte und Referenzwerke) unter Maßgabe der wirtschaftlichen und strategischen Unternehmensziele
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit akademischen und institutionellen Partner*innen
Vertretung des Fachbereichs auf wissenschaftlichen Konferenzen weltweit
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Abteilungen Projektmanagement, Herstellung, Marketing und Vertrieb

Your Profile

Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Masterstudium der (germanistischen) Linguistik oder benachbarter Disziplinen – Promotion ein Plus
Erste Erfahrungen in der akademischen Verlagsbranche
Ausgeprägte Networking-Fähigkeiten
Erfahrung mit digitalen Publikationsformaten
Eigenverantwortliche ziel- und terminorientierte Arbeitsweise bei hoher Belastbarkeit und starkem Teamgeist
Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeit und hohe Autor*innenorientierung
Gute technische Auffassungsgabe sowie die Fähigkeit, sich schnell in hauseigene Systeme einzuarbeiten
Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch auf höchstem Niveau, in Englisch verhandlungssicher
