The Educational Technology Department is inviting applications for the following position commencing 01 March
2024

Academic research assistant (m/f/x)

Reference number W2404, salary in accordance with the German TV-L salary scale1, pay grade: E13 TV-L, duration
of employment: up until December 2026 with excellent options for extension, volume of employment: 50 %
of standard working time.

With a special focus on our main research track, computer-supported collaborative learning, we offer research
positions on

L2BGreen – Learning with Conversational Agents for Ecological Attitudinal Changes
Microcredentials in the Caucasus

Your tasks at the EduTech Department include:

Leading educational technology research projects
Designing learning environments and courses
Conducting studies; collecting and analyzing data
Publishing and presenting studies at international venues
Teaching courses within the EduTech Master program

Your academic qualifications:
• Completed university studies in the areas of Educational Technology, Computer Science, Pedagogy, or Psychology

is required

Language skills (according to GER): English B2

The successful candidate will also be expected to:
• Sound knowledge of research methods (incl. handling statistics software like SPSS and R)

Strong command of English; additional skills in German welcome
Interest in alignment with the research focus of the department on networked and computer-supported

collaborative learning

Strong drive and commitment for exploring design solutions and scientific knowledge
Ability and willingness to collaborate with academics from diverse backgrounds
