The GLS language school on the GLS Campus in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg is looking for experienced ESP English teachers (m/f/d) for English for face-to-face and online* courses for a long-term cooperation. (*Unfortunately, we are not currently looking for teachers who only offer online classes)

We are especially looking for teachers for the following:

Company English courses for Special Purposes (law, finance, tax, and the construction industry). The courses take place either online via Zoom, as face-to-face courses directly in the companies or as face-to-face courses on the GLS Campus in Berlin.
We use various textbooks in our courses or teachers’ own materials depending on the needs of the students and the length of the courses.

You bring with you:

a university degree
a qualification in English as a foreign language (minimum CELTA or equivalent), ideally with DELTA and an extra qualification in teaching business English
experience in teaching English as a foreign language - preferably at all levels
a background in law, finance, tax, architecture or the construction industry (or substantial experience of teaching ESP courses in at least one of these areas)
a structured way of working and a positive, dynamic appearance
enjoyment of teaching
communicative methodology
interest in continuous professional development
knowledge of English at native speaker level
