Innovation Network

Deutsche Bank’s Innovation Network identifies, evaluates, and incubates cutting-edge technical innovation. It is part of the bank’s Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) function and works globally with all business lines and infrastructure functions of the bank. A focus of the team is to create value for clients and the bank using Artificial Intelligence and other advanced data-driven technologies.

As a Data Scientist (f/m/x) – AI and Innovation Networks you will identify, evaluate, and incubate data- and AI-driven innovation projects .

Your key responsibilities

• You work in a cross-functional team using your technical expertise to identify, evaluate and incubate data- and AI-driven innovation projects

• By designing and building MVPs using AI and other advanced data-driven technologies, you demonstrate how such technologies can create sustainable value for the Bank

• You contribute to identifying and evaluating applications of these technologies by providing your technical insight to your team and various other stakeholders across the Bank

• You communicate technical concepts and results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, and measure success by the business value your solutions generate

• As an experienced data scientist, you take responsibility for the technical delivery of innovation projects and act as a trusted technical advisor to your team and the bank

Your skills and experiences

• University degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, physics, economics, etc.), preferably a Master’s or Doctoral degree

• Several years of experience in applying data science in business and/or academia. Strong knowledge of at least one programming language and relevant data science or engineering framework (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Spark, etc.)

• Ideally, practical experience in finance and banking

• Comfortable working with and managing uncertainty and ambiguity

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
