Your tasks
- Investigation of suitable localization methods for indoor areas
- Development and integration of an overall architecture for localization of test vehicles in indoor and outdoor environments
- Implementation and validation on prototypes in real driving tests
- Cooperation with project partners from industry
- Research and publication activities in an interdisciplinary team, if desired: PhD thesis
Your profile
- Completed scientific university degree (master or diploma) in computer science or natural science or engineering field of study.
- Programming competence in at least one high-level programming language (C++, Python, Java, or similar)
- Knowledge in software engineering (design patterns, architecture) and localization (e.g. GNSS, UWB)
- Excellent German as well as good English skills
- Courage for visionary work and creative solutions, fun with research, prototypical implementation and working in a team
- The aim is to consolidate the employment in further research projects.
