As Director Supply Chain (m/f/d) in Karlsruhe and full-time.
- As Director Supply Chain, you will be responsible for strategic, project and operational supply chain activities at Vulcan, including procurement, contracting and overall logistics.
- To this end, you will build a team to handle all procurement and contracting for the execution of capital projects for the Vulcan Group.
- In your role, you will be part of the Project Directorate and will support the Director of Programs to ensure the safe, timely and efficient delivery of projects.
- You will ensure synergies are realized across all development, execution and production activities throughout the Vulcan Group.
- You will also look after value creation through the development of long-term strategic framework agreements with key equipment suppliers, engineering and EPC contractors and logistics partners.
- You have already worked in similar positions in the area of plant or power plant construction (ideally in the construction of chemical plants or in the oil & gas environment or comparable) and have at least 10-15 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- You have a degree in, for example, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemistry, civil engineering or similar courses of study with a technical and economic focus.
- You are an experienced leader who develops the strategic foundations and procurement standards for your team and ensures that the team members can deliver their top performance.
- You are a professional in Supply Chain Management / Procurement in the area of construction of large scale technical plants, large EPC and EPCM projects, as well as in stakeholder management and contract design.
