You will drive the product and software platform definition for our next-generation patient monitors to ensure that we deliver the right and safe products to our customers.

You are responsible for

• Maximizing the value of our Patient Monitoring Devices by contributing to the product vision and roadmap
• Defining software requirements based on customer needs and post-market surveillance feedback
• Creating and prioritizing the backlog for global scrum team(s) in active collaboration with business owners, architects, marketing, and other stakeholders
• Facilitating iteration planning, defining program increment objectives
• Applying consistent Model-based Systems Engineering methodology with SysML.

You are a part of

a highly motivated Product Development and Cyber Security team driving the innovation and secure product definition for our next-generation patient monitors.

At Philips Medizin Systeme Böblingen GmbH we develop and produce patient monitoring systems for the global market. These are mainly used in emergency and intensive care medicine, pregnancy, and newborn monitoring, during operations, and in anesthesia.

Your team is part of a layered agile release train realizing the software platform for medical devices.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

• An engineering degree in computer sciences, biomedical engineering, or similar fields
• 3+ years of professional experience as a product owner, product manager, systems engineer, software architect, or similar
• Experience with the development or Model-based Systems Engineering of embedded device software in an agile environment, preferably in the healthcare sector
• Focus on quality, patient safety and reliability
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment
• Fluent in English (must) and German (preferred).
