This is a short term (6 month) full time position with the possibility of a follow-on assignment. This assignment offers a highly competitive salary and full Per Diem TDY benefits.
What You'll Get to Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and data needs.
- Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources for analysis and reporting.
- Develop and maintain interactive and visually appealing PowerBI dashboards and reports.
- Create meaningful data visualizations that convey insights and trends.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and respond to data-related inquiries.
- Assist in data modeling, data profiling, and data quality assessment.
- Stay updated on PowerBI best practices and new features to optimize reporting capabilities.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience
- Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II
- Currently hold an adjudicated Secret Clearance and be able to obtain a top secret clearance
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong focus on PowerBI.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
- Solid SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for conveying complex data findings.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards data challenges.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- ITIL v4 - Foundation
- Experience with other data visualization tools and BI platforms.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
