In the Center for Sensor Systems, Chair of Analogue Circuits and Image Sensors, we are looking for one research assistant at the following conditions:
- 100% = 39,83 hours
- pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited for the duration of three years
Analog circuits are the backbone of our relationship between the natural world and digital Information systems. Our research group is interested in two of these relationships - Digital Cameras (CMOS image sensors) and Artificial Intelligent (AI) systems. We design application-specific image sensors with AI for biomedical and industrial applications. We are looking for one new graduate student to conduct research studies on these interesting areas, particularly in designing 1 Bit cameras. The hired research assistant will work in an international group at the cross-cutting area between health applications, camera technology, business processes and AI. Your tasks would include
- Hold a relevant Master’s degree in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering/ Informatics/Physics or related disciplines.
- Experience of CMOS Circuits or nanosystems fabrication in cleanroom
- Good communication skills in English
- Ambition for research and thirst of knowledge
- Experience/ training of using one or more of Cadence, Synospis, Matlab or Comsol
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Education in modules in CMOS IC Design or nano-systems
- Promotion of own scientific or artistic qualification according to the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz [act on temporary employment in higher education] (e.g. PhD)
