At the chair of energy economics and the assistant pro-
fessorship of energy market design, we are investigating a
broad range of energy markets, carriers, and infrastructures,
their decarbonization, digitalization, and decentralization,
related questions of sector coupling, regulation, and market
design, as well as the role of energy in the macroeconomy.
YOUR TASKS
» Preparation and follow-up of courses as well as seminars
in the field of energy economics in English language
» Supervision of examinations of the WiSo faculty
» Collaboration and independent contribution to research
in the field of national and international energy markets
» Support of the researchers at the chair with Bachelor
and Master Theses (calls for proposal) by investigation
of current topics in the field of energy markets and
compiling apropriate literature
» Consistantly literature investigation for relevant current
topics for researchers at the chair
YOUR PROFILE
» Ongoing studies in economics, mathematics or similar
(Master’s degree), relation to energy is desirable
» Interest in energy-related issues
» Very good knowledge of written and spoken English,
knowledge of German an advantage
» Computer Skills (Microsoft Office), LaTeX desirable but
not necessary
» Interest in a longer-term collaboration
