There have been some pie mentions, and you might be getting hungry, but as a Werkstudent and Digital Copywriter at Billogram Germany, your fingers will be in many of them. You will work locally with the Billogram team in DACH and collaboratively with the rest of the marketing department located in Stockholm, to create engaging content positioning Billogram as thought leader within the billing- and payment industry and strengthening our relationship to prospects and customers.

Primary responsibilities

• With our marketing and content strategy as a basis, translate (from english), validate and produce copy that creates engagement for a range of different purposes and channels.
• In collaboration with the Swedish marketing team, create ads for social media, web copy, social media posts, newsletters and easy-to-understand product descriptions.
• Assist with putting together longer format content such as blog posts, guides, whitepapers, customer cases and e-books.
• Do research to find influencers, agencies and important media outlets within our different verticals (energy, utilities, telcos, mobility and insurance) to define potential collaboration partners for content creation and distribution.
• Work with Marketing Automation Manager and Sales Ops in Sweden to monitor and track the health of marketing contributions to the sales pipeline and conversion.

In short you will help us build the Billogram brand in DACH and support the sales organization in building pipeline and closing opportunities. This by translating the insights and needs of our existing and potential customers into tasteful content. It’s a much more diverse, challenging, and broad role than baking a pie, but to you, it will be a piece of cake.

You can easily understand and work on the basis of shorter project descriptions - from start to finish and you can contribute with creative ideas for content planning and actively participate in follow-up and reporting. You thrive in a digital environment where we move forward at a fast pace, relentlessly pursuing goals even amid challenges. You engage others and have a structured, collaborative and solution-oriented attitude.

Skills & qualifications:

• +2 years of study within marketing, communication, journalism or equivalent.
• Native German and fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong Project Management skills is a requirement to succeed in the role.
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write engaging and playful copy, while maintaining a professional tonality towards executives and C-level/senior decision makers.
• Is used to writing for a variety of channels and has a SEO mindset in your writing.
• Basic understanding of SaaS B2B and B2B2C marketing.
• Interest in the energy, utility and/or telco industries.
• Good ability to analyze data, in order to optimize marketing campaigns.
• An interest and good understanding of social media – especially LinkedIn and Xing.
• Good knowledge about the German media landscape and agency networks.
• The ability to elaborate with different content formats such as video, animations, infographics etc. is a plus.
