Verizon’s experienced penetration testers work with Fortune 500 customers to perform various types of penetration testing assessments (e.g., network, wireless, application), acting as “ethical hackers”, to evaluate the security of enterprise networks, applications, mobile devices, and data. Our penetration testers go beyond simply enumerating vulnerabilities, we assess them to understand the potential impact they pose to our client’s business.
- Exploit vulnerabilities and use what’s found to help develop solutions that can secure the enterprise.
- Provide consulting services in the discipline of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Delivery and post-delivery support, including delivery of specific vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Source code review and report writing.
Where you’ll be working:
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- Experience working as a dedicated ethical hacker/pen tester in a medium to large enterprise
- Knowledge of application security, source code review, mobile and network security.
- Knowledge of programming languages: Java, .NET, C., Python.
- Willingness to travel.
- Fluency in German and English language
Even better if you have:
- Development and Sysadmin background.
- Excellent report writing skills and an ability to clearly articulate technical risk, coupled with an acute attention to detail.
- Experience with Static Analysis tools.
- Ability to deliver security projects on time and within budget.
- Strong work ethic, with demonstrated effective communication skills.
- Red Team experience.
