JOB DESCRIPTION
Research of trends, workmanships as well as manufacturers, suppliers and materials

Visit of fabric fairs
Assisting in the design process from initial concept to final product, including sketching, fabric selection, color development, and creating detailed technical specifications
Developing worksheets for sampling and prototypes
Ordering fabrics and trims for prototypes and sample collection
Maintaining constant communication with manufacturers during the sampling process
Work with suppliers and production partners to find innovative solutions for materials, craftsmanship, and sustainability
Regularly liaise with fabric suppliers, pattern makers, and production team to source innovative materials, refine garment construction, and optimize the overall design quality
Supporting fashion shoots for newly developed collections
Regular trips to production sites

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
A degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a design-focused role, high-fashion or luxury segment is a plus
Strong understanding of high quality workmanships and fabrics
Proven experience in the end-to-end design and product development process, from initial concept to final production
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and ERP systems

Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
Business fluent in German and English; Italian is a plus
Independent, driven, and proactive
Strong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
