What you'll do:

• You are part of an agile team that continuously develops new features
• You design and implement Java and Spring based services using various technologies (TCP/IP, AMQP, gRPC, REST)
• You work with binary or text-based data
• You participate in the entire software lifecycle - from concept to go-live

Plus, you'll have the opportunity to work on what matters to you. Every second Friday is our "Sprint-Free-Friday" where you have time for your favorite projects and everything else you've always wanted to try (as far as programming is concerned; knitting is out of the question...).
Kaiserslautern is not your preferred location? Fear not: for us it's only important how you work, not from where!

Who you are

What you'll bring:

• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Proficiency in working with Linux based systems
• A "can-do" attitude and an "abundance mindset"
• Hands-on experience with design and implementation of modern APIs and backend systems using Java and Spring
• Experience with large code bases
• The ability to analyze requirements, develop ideas, and find efficient solutions
• Willingness to dive into legacy code, solve problems and help us migrate legacy solutions
• You are a team player and maintain appreciative and open interaction
• Passion for data, curiosity and pragmatism
• Initial experience in financial data processing is a plus
