Your tasks:

Development of diode-pumped solid-state lasers, laser diode modules and systems for the life sciences
Process development and programming of an automatic alignment machine (pick & place)
Development and investigation of suitable assembly and automation processes with regard to stability, manufacturability and costs
Transferring the developed products and assembly processes to series production in close cooperation with the production, design and electronics departments

Your qualification:

Several years of professional experience or completed doctorate in the field of laser physics or related fields
Completed university degree in physics, laser physics, laser and optotechnologies or comparable qualification
Hands on skills with optical measurements and design
Practical experience in the fields of micro-optics/micro-assembly desirable
High degree of reliability and commitment
Independent and persistent working style, high level of creativity and commitment
