You’ll join more than 6,000 CARIDIANS already working on the latest vehicle features and functions like automated driving, state-of-the-art charging technology, as well as a new digital ecosystem. Together, we’re bringing sustainable change to one of the largest companies in the world.
You will support in the field of electric drivetrain and power electronics functions within the domain Vehicle Motion & Energy and will be part of a highly motivated and interdisciplinary developer team which is responsible for innovative functions of the electric drivetrain. Our deliverables contain machine control, application software within the power electronics, cross-connected software for vehicle functionalities as well as the core functions to drive the ECU across the Volkswagen Group product portfolio. Thereby, we enable future innovations, best-in-class driving adventure and deliver a significant contribution to the overall driver experience.
- Develop the model-based embedded software in the field of power electronics
- Create modelling for the electrical behavior of components of the e-drive train
- Commissioning of controller boards for software tests (software flash, system tests in hardware and software, etc.)
- Documentation of work products
- Enrolled student in the field of computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, electrical machine control or similar
- Knowledge about model-based function development with MATLAB/Simulink and about auto coding tools
- Knowledge about power electronics and in drive train components and principles of electrical engineering
- Knowledge in C/C++
- Fluent in English and German
- Team-minded, growth mind-set, goal-oriented and communicative
- Duration: initially limited to 6 months; further contract extension desired
- 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break
