Your role: The Materials Innovation Pipeline (MIP) seeks a curious, open-minded synthetic chemist who is experienced in advanced metalorganic chemistry. In line with Electronics mission to Advance Digital Living, MIP imagines and creates sustainable solutions and novel products for the semiconductor industry. By joining MIP, you gain broad insight into a key industry, latest technological trends, and challenges. As part of the Metalorganic Materials team, you do synthetic and analytical work in the lab and discuss results and scientific strategy with local and international colleagues. You will benefit from MIPs modern lab and office infrastructure, a flat and competence driven organization and broad scientific expertise within the Electronics division and beyond. The position is offered for 2 years, with the possibility to develop into a permanent contract. Documents accompanying your job application can be either in German or English.
Who you are:
- PhD in synthetic main group element-organic and/or cluster chemistry, transition metalorganic chemistry
- You excel in safe synthetic work under inert/vacuum conditions
- Experience in computational modelling is a plus
- You are curious, proactive, and self-organized with a result driven mindset
- You are a team player who enjoys working in international teams
- You appreciate to continuously develop yourself and your working environment
