About the role

The credit department at Revolut is anything but ordinary. They design, develop, and launch credit products across the globe The team manages our products from day one to the end - developing the back and front-end, the data science infrastructure, and then creating a local setup in each country with scalable risk management and portfolio management solutions. It's a big old job, but our people are a Credit to us all ✨

We're looking for a Head of Lending for the German market who'll be the go-to person on all things Revolut Credit in Germany. You'll accelerate the growth of our existing products, improve performance, drive customer engagement, expertly manage credit risk, and maintain the best quality on all aspects of the product and customer journey

You'll also ensure that as we continue to scale our lending business, we deliver the highest quality on product features, support, and service levels. We need a Leader with capital 'L' to own the Business and develop our team of A players.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the lending team to define and implement the strategy for all Revolut Germany lending activities
• Managing the overall risk of the Revolut Germany loan portfolio
• Driving business performance and sustainable growth
• Managing regulatory relationships, interacting with regulators and local authorities
• Establishing and executing the territory’s underwriting, portfolio management, and collections policy and activity

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience as a Bank Executive (ExCo is a real advantage)
• Deep knowledge and experience in Germany's retail lending products
• Strong entrepreneurial drive and personal resilience
• Extensive experience building and managing credit decisioning/risk models and regulatory engagement
• An understanding of credit portfolio performance
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
• The ability to recruit and lead a team
• The ability to think and reason logically
