We are looking for an Intern (F/M/D) for our ENVIRONMENTAL SENSOR DEPARTMENT

Sensors are our passion. The sensor team and its state-of-the-art laboratory evaluate customer products from all over the world. We are seeking highly motivated interns to accomplish sophisticated tasks to overcome challenges in design and implementation of environmental sensor products. We welcome students with knowledge in electronics, physics and chemistry, measurements and data evaluation.

YOUR TASK

• Investigate most common materials in 3D printing and product packaging.
• Plan, design and perform tests to analyze the influence of these materials on metal oxide sensor performance.
• Investigate the optimal flow design for the implementation of gas sensors and elaborate housing recommendations.
• Investigate different calibration strategies and their potential impact.
• Summarize findings in an app note to help customers with measurement results interpretation.

• Student in the field of electronics, chemical engineering, mechatronics, material science, physics or similar.
• Basic knowledge in data evaluation with e.g. Python or Matlab.
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Structured, open-minded, hands-on mentality
• You are available for about 3-6 months
• Working close with your mentor
