Local Unit & Position Description:
The Customer Care Officer is responsible for securing contracts with our existing customers as well as planning the audits to issue a certificate. Sales activities relate to securing and developing existing customers. This is executed primarily by phone, e-mail or the Internet and in some cases through customer visits, external meetings and events. The role also requires participating in internal business project enhancement activities to secure future revenue growth and satisfied customers.
Other relevant tasks within the department and/or company may occur.
Main tasks in this role:
- Maintaining and developing relations with existing customers in person and via phone calls and emails
- Defining accreditation-relevant effort using calculation tools
- Preparation, creation and active follow-up of offers
- Sales management for existing customers
- Handling and monitoring customer inquiries
- Prepare the audit planning, plan the audits and issue a certificate by using the global process for existing and new customers
- Issue and follow up of work orders for hired-in auditors all over the world (internal/external)
- Follow up pro-actively the utilization of the assigned employed auditors. Adjust the auditor workload to optimize utilization, reduce travel, extend qualifications, etc.
- Collaboration with other customer care teams to achieve the defined Unit Goals
Position Qualifications:

- Successfully completed administrative education (e.g. Industriekaufmann /-frau) or Bachelor's/Master's degree
- Experience in the development of long-lasting customer relationships
- Several years of experience in Sales and basic knowledge of Business
- Experience in planning services in beneficial.
- Technical background knowledge, as well as professional experience in the industry, would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills - both written and spoken
- Ability to work both independently as well as in a team
- Ability to handle internal and external customers' needs in a professional matter
- Ability to work under pressure and manage several on-going projects in parallel
- Working in a structured and detail-oriented way without losing track
- Service-minded, customer-oriented, positive and having a high sense of ownership
- Working constructively while being solution-oriented and a good problem solver
- Desire and willingness to learn and make improvements
- Experience in working with various IT-programs (e.g. MS Office)
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
