Our client company performs end-to-end projects in all telecommunication areas (Fixed /Mobile / Radio Networks) as well as Civil Works in Spain, and Germany.
Responsibilities
I. Participation in the processing of offers and acquisition
- Forwarding and processing of customer enquiries, requests for quotations in cooperation with the ABU Manager
- Confirmation in the case of different costing bases, e.g. different actual time estimates and material qualities, additional services
- Participation in the final costing as a basis for future offer calculations
II. Technical management, order processing
- Monitoring of the projects regarding time and economic specifications of the projects and construction sites
- Acquisition, implementation, and control of the current planning specifications (planning manuals) of the customers (e.g. network operators)
- Technical and commercial responsibility for the construction project
- Preparation of a preliminary costing and a construction schedule (definition of the need for materials, subcontracting, vehicles, equipment, tools, measuring equipment)
- Monitoring and checking the on-time and complete commissioning of the construction site in the warehouse
- Briefing of the responsible teams with handing over of the short description of the project and time schedule
- Enforcement of work procedures on the construction site, regular site visits
- Commissioning, coordination, monitoring and invoicing of subcontractor services
- Weekly audit of the travel expense, hourly, piecework accounts
- Weekly preparation of the billing bases for the customer (measurements) if necessary
- Prompt preparation of supplementary offers, settlement of the same
- Project monitoring, such as reporting, control, deadline monitoring
- Notification of deviations in the construction process to the District Manager (postponement of construction time, additional services, discontinuation of services, new customer requirements)
- Preparation and execution of the timely acceptance with the customer, including the compilation and delivery of the customer documentation to the customer
- Initiation and control of possible defect rectification as well as prompt deregistration of these at the customer
- Preparation of invoicing after acceptance
- Timely and factually correct submission of the performance report
III. Team management
- Management and information of the subordinate personnel (objectives for the construction measure)
- Motivation of the employees
- Carrying out fire protection, occupational safety and security instructions with the site personnel before the start of each construction project
- Notification of own training needs as well as the training needs of subordinate fitters, foremen, supervising fitters, trainees
III. Other
- Request notification for investments to the ABU Manager
- Duty to inform about upcoming test dates for test and measuring equipment, conductors and portable electrical installations.
- Execution of the annual inventory for current and fixed assets on the construction sites
