Job Description
Global Sales Office
The Global Sales Office enables Commercial Excellence focusing on consistency across countries and clients regarding our offers and pricing. As such, GSO Tasks includes initiation & monitoring as well as support of key projects as well as recommendations on (sales related) improvement areas.
Specific Global Sales Office topics include Contract Insights / Tool Management, Price Management, CRM / Salesforce and Other Sales Support related projects (such as NPS or Year End Race activities for instance). The Regional Sales Officer is part of the GSO and works across multiple countries.
Local / Regional Sales Office
Local and Regional support will be provided to the local sales teams in multiple countries and can take on cross country Sales support related projects. Sitting at the heart of the local sales team, you are a key enabler who will look for common administrative efficiencies, lean processes and facilitate centralized information flows between the team and key support functions such as finance and sales. This role is more than just an administrator, you will be client focused and have an analytical mindset to help drive intelligence which enables our sales team to drive better insights about current and prospective clients.
You will enjoy navigating the local sales office organization by building strong stakeholder relationships, and alongside the support for our sales teams, you will act as a key local member of our Global Sales Office Functions. You will facilitate regional initiatives and provide upward input from the sales teams to these key regional functions.
Local / Regional : Commercial & analytical support (local / regional sales support)
- Work with sales teams to highlight any white spot areas – clients or solutions
- Countries include Germany (focus) & Austria + Switzerland
- Advocate for existing CRM (=SalesForce) and support the teams as needed
- As SalesForce Power User you will be the go to person for SF support
- Direct support to Cluster sales leads for compiling any monthly or weekly reporting
- Providing support to the senior sales team via strategically identifying prospective customers,
Global : Member of the Global Sales Office team (global sales support)
- Manage specific named projects the GSO team is expected to execute,
such as contract management tooling
- Organize with GSO and CS relevant trainings for local sales teams,
such as SalesForce trainings etc. - Market intelligence gathering and dissemination feeding into ongoing white spot analysis
- Identification of main contract renewal needs + global pitch support
- Working with the GSO team to contribute to active pipeline management:
- Sales Management Office – sales steering and KPIs, strategic customer development
Commercial and or Client Solutions teams
Technical skills required
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to motivate / influence stakeholders
- Strong commercial / sales awareness
- Good cross-functional networking skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Strong experience of CRM systems (Salesforce) with the need to be a local / regional power-user
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
- Capable of planning, setting and working to time-based operational targets
- Good problem solving skills with ability to remain calm under pressure
- Fluent in German and English
