Maytag Aircraft Corporation is expanding our global support to Refueling Services for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV). For the past fifty years Maytag is dedicated to supporting conventional surface and air vehicles. The expansion of our services to UAV/UGV provides our customers with a proven reputable Service Company to support the increasing demand for Surface and Air Unmanned Vehicles.
Position: Fuel Distribution Systems Operator (FDSO)
Reports To: Terminal Manager
Location: Germany (Hohenfels, Grafenwoehr, Illeshiem)
Position Summary:
The Fuel Distribution Systems Operator (FDSO) shall be qualified to receive, handle, and issue petroleum products. FDSO shall have practical experience in all facets of fuel distribution systems to include, pipeline systems, storage tanks, pumps, valves, fuel monitors and filters, and be able to receive fuel by tank truck or rail car and prepare and check receiving documents. FDSO shall be able to convert gauge and temperature readings to quantities of products and shall be able to perform quality assurance functions. FDSO shall be able to correlate pressures, temperatures, and quantities as read from various gauges and meters normally found at a fuel facility, ability to start pumps and open valves or use automated equipment to regulate the flow of fuel in pipeline into and out of tank. Obtain and visually inspects fuel samples, gauges tanks for water, temperature, and fuel levels. Operators shall have a basic understanding of written description and instructions pertaining to facility operations, shall be able to implement cyclic maintenance programs and safety programs relating to all aspects of facility operation and shall have demonstrated expertise in spill cleanup procedures, prevention and control measures, related equipment operation and maintenance. Performs general housekeeping and grounds maintenance for terminal facilities and systems.
The FDSO will operate refueling and defueling trucks in support of aviation refueling objectives. The FDSO must be qualified to perform fuel servicing operations (refuel/defuel services) using mobile fuel servicing trucks, truck supplied pantograph and hoses sets. The FDSO shall pass a flight-line familiarization test, a practical equipment/facility competency test, and shall be certified as qualified. The FDSO should be familiar with safety regulations applicable to aviation and ground fuel servicing operations on and around the airfield and supported activities, and shall demonstrate a practical knowledge of and ability to inspect and maintain fuel servicing equipment and systems.
Licensing:
The FDSO shall be licensed in accordance with the vehicle operating laws, regulations, and codes of the Country in which they will operate equipment and shall be/remain in compliance with all such requirements for the duration of their employment. All drivers shall possess a current/valid Class C, CE driver’s license; drivers must possess an ADR Certificate with Tank endorsement. All drivers that may be required to operate vehicles and equipment on public roads shall be licensed for the class of vehicle to be operated on all such public roads.

Must possess a valid Class C, or C+E CDL. And be able to obtain and maintain an ADR Certificate
