Aim Solutions, our clinical diagnostic division, specializes in the manufacture of small, cost-effective benchtop automation for optimizing pre- and post-analytical workflows in pathology laboratories, and has installations worldwide. We are looking for our next Customer Solutions Specialist - Life Science (m/f/d) as we accelerate our growth journey.
What you’ll do:
- Co-ordinate and perform on-site servicing, corrective maintenance, installation and qualification of company(s), primarily in Pathology Laboratories
- Provide technical support to end users, channel partners and distributors for the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory Automation portfolio.
- Support the Regional Sales Manager by assisting with laboratory workflow analyses and recommendations for appropriate products and configurations to meet the specific laboratory’s requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with end user accounts and channel partners/distributors to facilitate effective account management and growth.
- Implement upgrades and hardware/software change order
- Provide local and remote technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
- Develop and deliver technical training to our end users, channel partners and Customer Solutions Specialists either remotely or on-site (domestic and international)
- Instigate appropriate reporting to ensure traceability of problems, resolutions and corrective actions as well as escalation of product non-conformance trends and utilization
What you’ll bring:
- An undergraduate degree in engineering (mechatronics, biomedical or related)
- Electromechanical and software skills and troubleshooting expertise.
- A successful track record as a field service engineer in a related healthcare market.
- Experience with laboratory automation solutions, with knowledge of pathology laboratories will be highly regarded
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) using business and user-friendly language with a commercial mindset.
- Ability to think outside the box to troubleshoot complex technical products and customer challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and an affinity for customer service
- Self-motivated, results-driven and well organized and able to handle multiple tasks with a clear sense of ownership and priority
- A current full drivers’ license and reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
